Best-selling author and filmmaker Yaba Badoe, author and journalist Patrice Lawrence and writer and activist, Jamia Wilson come together for an evening celebrating black writers and figures through history for the publication Young, Gifted and Black.
Young, Gifted and Black aims to inform and inspire a new generation – highlighting figureheads, leaders, pioneers, cultural trailblazers and black icons from past to present.
For this unique event, three authors come together to discuss their own inspirations as writers and black women in a celebration of art and identity. The evening will consist of a panel discussion followed by audience Q&A and signing.
